Local Priorities Burglary Update |
I wanted to provide you with an update regarding burglary, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.
Local officers have been patrolling and appealing for witnesses today for a recent burglary on Kings Avenue on the evening of 24/03/2026. We are also aware of the recent spike in burglaries in the area and taken account of the concerns from residents. If you see anything suspicious, please do not hesitate to report it via 101 or 999 in an emergency. It helps create a pattern to target patrols and ensure further burglaries don't happen in the future. We want to ensure that residents feel reassured and safe in their homes so if there are any outstanding enquiries, do not hesitate to contact us. We would advise keeping homes as secure as possible especially by the rear as it seems as though it is found as a opportunity for suspects to make entry. While we will continue to pursue burglars in the area, there are steps you can do to help keep your property safe. Make sure that you:
